Laddered tights, spilt gin and a night to remember

Hey Lovelies!,

I began writing this post on Tuesday evening but I've been working a fair bit and had to travel to Meadowhall to work so I haven't really had anytime to complete this post :/

Monday was immense! Me an Lucy set off at 2pm to Manchester, we stayed in one of the roomzzz apartments for the night which was ace! Roomzzz is basically a mix between a hotel room and an apartment, we had our own little kitchen - with a dishwasher, oven and fridge! Fourposter bed, an I-mac and a wet room style bathroom, the shower was amazing it was like a waterfall!

So when we arrived we decided to drop off our things and head to the shops to get a few last min purchases as well as our trusted gin and lemonade!
Once we were back the preparation began! and here's what we decided to wear:

Lucy's outfit: River Island
Me: Corset - Topshop
Shorts - Miss Selfridge
Blazer - Newlook
When we arrived at the gig and received our passes we grabbed a few beverages and headed to the Balcony to watch the bands...I've got to say it was ace being able to watch the bands and not get knocked over or have someones shoulders in your face - being 5ft nothing when I usually go to gigs this is all I can see haha!

In between the sets we went to the band rooms to see the bands (Lucy and her friends know them quite well) On Asking Alexandria's last song we were allowed to stand on the side of the stage and oh my god there were so many people in the crowd! I used to go to college with Danny from Asking Alexandria and he was my model for my A-level exam (When I go home I'll get a picture of it and upload it for you to see) so when the guys had finished their set we were all hanging out in the back for a while and then headed to a pub round the corner from the venue. It's funny looking back on when you were younger and seeing what everyone is doing now, Danny and Cam moved to America to be in Asking Alexandria and it's amazing that they managed to do it!

I awoke to a rather sore head and after procrastinating both me and Lucy were rushing to pack our bags and check-out. We headed for breakfast and then it was back to reality and back to Huddersfield.
